Rick Wheat is a world-class horse trainer and developer of The Original
Noavel Headstall.
Rick's been in the horse industry all his life, riding the rodeo circuit for
many years and operating his own rodeo company. He was voted All
Around Cowboy and Pick-Up Man of the year for several years running. In
2007, Rick Wheat was named West Quest's Cowboy of the Year.
Having spent years training horses in many disciplines including: reining,
ranching, roping, barrel-racing, show, race, trick and trail horses, Rick
developed and patented the Noavel Headstall in 2001.
The Noavel Headstall is worn as a halter and is more humane and
comfortable than traditional headgear. It is an essential tool for gaining your
horse's respect and attention. The Noavel Headstall reduces the time it
